Russell Taylor Group's 'tiara run' will crown company fundraiser Back

Russell Taylor Group's 'tiara run' will crown company fundraiser Tiaras and trainers are the order of the day at Russell Taylor Group as staff take on a right royal month of fundraising.

The workforce at the company's headquarters on Riverside Park have chosen the Queen's 90th birthday celebrations for a final push to reach their £10,000 charity target.   Collectively, Russell Taylor and its sister company Recruit Right are running and walking a total of 90 miles throughout June to bring in
sponsorship money to fund a state-of the-art room at the new Alder Hey Children's Hospital in Liverpool.

Group chairman Peter Russell said: “We're almost there now to reach our ambitious goal of raising £10,000 to pay for a personalised bedroom at the hospital which, as well as being kitted out with the latest technology, will include facilities such as a specially-constructed bed for parents so they can stay close to their child.

“There'll obviously be a fun element to this fundraiser, with staff running, walking and using treadmills at the gym wearing crowns and  tiaras. However, it's going to be a huge, determined effort on the part of everyone at Russell Taylor Group to reach our target for Alder Hey.  The business has a proud history of charitable fundraising - but this is our most challenging project to date and we're hoping friends, family and clients will support us in helping to get there.”
