Michele Dematteis, Sovex Managing Director, said of particular importance are the European leads including new enquiries from Germany, Italy and the Netherlands.
He said: “Our future expansion relies in part in building upon Sovex’s success in the UK into developing territories across the globe along with sectors previously untapped by Sovex. LogiMAT 2015 allowed us to build upon our prominent presence whilst also networking with our suppliers and existing clients. Our highly skilled and experienced sales office will liaise closely with our distributor network to ensure leads are followed up.”
Mr Dematteis said Sovex has had an extremely busy start to 2015 and already the firm is on track to grow for its fifth consecutive year.
Specialising in design, manufacture, installation and maintenance and with a European Sales Office led by General Manager, Gijs Kurvers; Sovex has a long list of recent successes in Europe. Telescopic boom conveyors and vehicle loaders with a diverse range of bespoke modifications have been shipped to numerous sites across Germany, France and Poland.
Sovex is synonymous with bespoke design and manufacture and it was truly evident to see the intrigue and interest in the compact version of the award winning Sovex Bendy Boom exhibited by the team.
Sovex, which specialises in the design, manufacture, installation and maintenance of conveyor systems, currently employs over 160 staff including electrical engineers, welders, fitters and fabricators at its headquarters in Prenton, Wirral, including over 30 service engineers based around Britain.
Sovex’s core business is the vehicle loading range for which it is famous. Its telescopic boom conveyor extends into vehicles, sea containers, transit vans and everything in between – and drastically reduces the time and manpower required to load and unload products.
In addition to these boom conveyors Sovex also offers full conveyor systems to assist with sorting and transporting the produce from these vehicles.
Their conveyor system customers include furniture retails, tyre manufacturers, shoe importers and post and parcel businesses.
